[Details] Newborn sessions are best done within the first 2 weeks of life. Please contact me with your due date to ensure my availability within those first few weeks. Newborn sessions will vary in session time because of the unpredictability of newborns. On average, a majority of the session is taken calming, feeding, and posing the baby. I have a large variety of newborn props to choose from including (but not limited to) hats, outfits, headbands, blankets, baskets, a bench, backdrops, and much more. All of these accessories will be available for your use at the time of the session. Please contact me to discuss your preference in props so that I can prepare a custom collection for your session. Adalia Eden Photographie specializes in organic newborn images. Because newborns change rapidly and because newborn photos are used to remember their little details, your baby will be posed nude for the majority of the session. For this reason, the room temperature will be extra warm to accommodate the comfort of your nude newborn. I will suggest that parents dress in layers to avoid overheating.
[What to Bring] Dressing the baby in a loose-fitted sleeper or onsie will help baby stay asleep while being undressed, as well as help to avoid red lines on the body. A pacifier: having a pacifier to temporarily calm the baby (only if baby is not actually hungry) is handy. Diapers, wipes, sleeper, a blanket, formula, breast milk and anything else the baby will need in the duration of the session.
